In 2013, Arjun joined Vivek Ranadive and other partners to acquire the Sacramento Kings NBA Team. Thereafter the new ownership group developed the Golden One Arena, which opened in 2016. The group is developing over one million square feet of mixed use real estate for retail, commercial, hotel and residential uses to help revitalize downtown Sacramento. In 2019, Luke Walton joined the Kings as their new head coach. Currently the Sacramento Kings players are one of the youngest teams in the NBA.
